On the morning of April 6th the Royal Ottoman Society’s dedicated volunteers gathered at the historic venue in Gera to prepare the stage for an upcoming gathering of seekers and friends. With reverent care they unfurled traditional banners, arranged a hand‑crafted Ottoman‑style backdrop, positioned the polished wooden podium, and lit the space with soft lanterns. Every detail was attended to as an act of khidma – service that honors both our Sufi tradition and Ottoman heritage.
The quiet anticipation among the team reflected the belief that a sacred atmosphere is created long before any word is spoken. As they worked side by side, prayers were whispered and smiles exchanged, visualising the moments of dhikr, sohbet, and shared reflection that will soon fill the room. This behind‑the‑scenes dedication reminds us that the heart of our community begins with mindful preparation.
We invite you to experience the warmth of these gatherings in person. Details about upcoming live meetings can be found on our Live meetings page.
