This second conquest of Constantinople, foretold in hadith as Şark‑ı Roma (the East of Rome) being captured again, would set the stage for Imam Mahdi’s arrival to halt the war.
According to the narrative shared, the banner carried by Bosnian believers would be received by a revered figure at Eyüp Sultan’s shrine. From there the prophetic sword of the Prophet (peace be upon him) would pass through a chain of custodians—first from the Ottoman lineage, then to Imam Mahdi, and finally to Isa (A.S.)—symbolizing the restoration of divine justice.
