In this brief yet powerful sohbet, Sheikh Bahauddin reminds us that true security lies not in external circumstances but in the pleasure of Allah Almighty. Whether we face imprisonment, illness, or even the grave, the heart that is content with God transforms any place into a sanctuary. The Sheikh urges us to shift our focus from the grand, cosmic Day of Judgment to the personal “Qiyāmah” within each soul—our own inner reckoning that only Allah determines.
He also cautions against becoming fixated on the timing of the Mahdi’s appearance. Rather than obsess over dates, we should ready ourselves spiritually; when the Divine plan unfolds, the Mahdi will come as destined. This preparation, he says, is more reliable than adhering to human calendars—whether Friday‑to‑Friday, Saturday‑to‑Saturday, or any other schedule. Trusting in Allah’s ultimate program brings peace that no worldly event can disturb.
We are invited to embody this trust daily: to seek Allah’s happiness above all, and to let that inner joy shield us from the trials of dunya. In doing so, we align ourselves with the divine timetable and become ready for whatever blessings or tests lie ahead.
