In this teaching we are gently reminded that true authority belongs solely to Allah, the Absolute Creator. Our plans for the future may be earnest, yet their outcome rests in divine hands; the past is already sealed and beyond our reach. The only realm where genuine effort bears fruit is within ourselves—by mastering the ego and surrendering to the Creator’s wisdom we align with the timeless Sufi path of humility and trust (tawakkul). When we accept that every circumstance, whether comfort or challenge, is a manifestation of Allah’s sovereign will, frustration fades and inner peace blossoms.
