The recent gathering at our Royal Ottoman Center was a heartfelt celebration of community spirit and Sufi heritage. We welcomed Dr Nihat Hatipoğlu to share his presence with us, and the atmosphere reflected the warmth and devotion that define our fellowship.
Women comprised the majority of attendees, and their leadership of the household was evident throughout the program. Their attentive care created an environment that felt both refined and inviting. Our sisters engaged deeply in the sohbet, asking insightful questions and fostering lively discussion, while many young men also participated with enthusiasm. This inter‑generational involvement filled our hearts with joy and reinforced the bonds of brotherhood and sisterhood within the Society.
In his address, Dr Hatipoğlu highlighted the importance of unity, love, and peace—values that echo the teachings of the great Sufi masters such as Mevlânâ and Yunus Emre. He reminded us that, regardless of faith or background, we share a common destiny: one day we will all return to our Creator. Therefore, no deed can remain untouched by divine scrutiny. He called us to abandon conflict, hatred, and enmity, urging instead the embrace of compassion, reconciliation, and the search for beauty in every moment.
Our prayers were offered that Allah may keep us steadfast on the path of love, shielding us from straying away from the guidance of Ahl‑ul‑Bayt and the Sunnah. May He grant us strength to live according to the prophetic tradition, fostering harmony among all members of the community.
We extend our sincere gratitude to everyone who contributed—especially the women whose diligent stewardship made the event possible, as well as the sisters and youths whose keen interest inspires us to continue offering enriching programs. Let us move forward together, united in purpose, free from discrimination, and ever‑ready to support every good deed that advances the gentle, warm face of Islam.
