On the evening of 23 February 2019, the Royal Ottoman Society in Ludwigshafen opened its doors for a truly special gathering titled Aşk’ın Kalemi. At 19:30 we welcomed historian and cultural visionary Sinan Yağmur, who shared his deep insights into service lessons and the soulful world of Sufi music.
The invitation was delivered with heartfelt enthusiasm by our technical coordinator, Aaron Lockhart, who emphasized that everything had been prepared for a night “so magnificent” that all attendees would leave feeling inspired. Guests were greeted with the traditional greeting Selamun aleyküm and invited to experience a blend of historical reflection, spiritual teaching, and melodic Sufi performances.
We look forward to welcoming both long‑time members and newcomers alike to this evening of learning, music, and community fellowship. If you feel drawn to future events or wish to become part of our growing family, consider exploring our membership page or joining the conversation on the community page.
May the blessings of this night continue to illuminate our path together.
