In a recent gathering the Society honored Kızıl Almaya At Süren Aslanlar – “The Lions of the Golden Apple”. This remarkable volume was composed in 2011 at the explicit request of Sheikh Nazım Hazretleri, who envisioned it as a source of profound spiritual counsel for princes, sultans and all seekers of truth. During the presentation Ayberk Efendi shared how the work, now available in both Turkish and English, gathers prophetic insights about humanity’s future while inviting each reader to awaken the heart to Divine presence.
Sheikh Nazım Hazretleri personally delivered copies of the manuscript to distinguished leaders, offering his sincere advice and blessings. He emphasized that true authority does not arise from worldly power but from the depth of one’s inner devotion. As Ayberk Efendi expressed, “We do not rule over two peoples; our spirituality rules.” The book therefore stands as a reminder that the spirit of the lion—courage, wisdom, and unwavering faith—guides us far beyond any temporal throne.
The English edition, titled The Return of the Ottomans – Lions on the Golden Apple, was published in Germany while its Turkish version was printed in Istanbul. Both editions convey the same lofty message: a compilation of prophetic traditions, historical reflections, and contemporary challenges that point toward a more enlightened future. Readers are invited to let this “red apple” of knowledge inspire their own spiritual journey.
We encourage all members of our community to explore the teachings contained within this work. For those wishing to read it in full, the book is available through the Royal Ottoman Society’s digital library, where you can also discover related publications and resources.
