On 5 September 2015 the Royal Ottoman Society welcomed Sheikh Mehmed Adil El Hakkani in Vienna, an occasion graciously introduced by Ayberk Efendi. The visit offered a rare moment for our European friends to meet a distinguished bearer of the Sufi tradition, whose teachings continue to inspire seekers across continents. In the spirit of shared heritage, the gathering fostered heartfelt sohbet, deepened cultural ties, and reminded us that the timeless values of love, humility, and service transcend borders.
