With heavy hearts we share the loss of our beloved elder brother, Jalaluddin Abdul Khaliq Efendi, who departed this world on Sunday, January 6th, 2021. Just a day earlier we gathered for our regular meeting, sharing laughter and spiritual reflection in his warm presence. The joy of that evening turned swiftly into sorrow when Allah, the Most Gracious, called him back to His mercy.
We have kept Jalaluddin in our prayers, reciting Al‑Fatiha repeatedly as a collective supplication for his soul. May his record be illuminated with light and may he find ease in the Hereafter. His gentle guidance and steadfast devotion remain an enduring inspiration for all members of the Royal Ottoman Society.
