The Royal Ottoman Society recently shared a recording of Sheikh Ayberk Efendi’s music group performing his latest composition, “Hu Allah.” The piece was rendered live in the historic Osmanlı Herberge Kall located in Sötenich, where students from Ludwigshafen gathered to join in the devotional chant.
The repetitive invocation “Hu Allah” – an ancient Sufi phrase that evokes the presence of God – reverberates through the hall, creating a deep atmosphere of remembrance (dhikr). Interwoven with “Hay Allah,” the melody invites participants to surrender their hearts to divine love and to experience unity beyond the self.
