The Royal Ottoman Society recently gathered for a heartfelt sohbet that brought together three esteemed guides of our spiritual lineage: Sheikh Bahauddin Adil Efendi, Sheikh Hassan Efendi, and Ayberk Efendi. The meeting opened with the traditional invocation, “Subhanim Allah, Sultanim Allah, Nabi Muhammad, Alayhi Salam,” repeated reverently by all present. This opening prayer set a sacred tone, reminding participants of the divine presence that underlies every gathering and inviting collective remembrance (dhikr) in the spirit of Ottoman‑Sufi heritage.
In this shared space, the gathered seekers experienced the quiet power of communal zikr, feeling the unity and love that arise when hearts align with the blessings spoken at the start. The presence of our honored teachers offered a living illustration of the timeless path, fostering an atmosphere of humility, gratitude, and inner reflection for everyone involved.
We welcome those who wish to deepen their connection with this lineage to join our growing community. Explore upcoming gatherings, teachings, and fellowship here: Community. May the blessings invoked in this meeting continue to guide us all on the path of love and service.
