Sheikh Mehmed Adil warns against blind allegiance to any foreign culture or ideology. He cautions believers not to adopt the label “Wahhabi” as a badge of authenticity, nor to follow Arabs—or any external group—at the expense of their own spiritual heritage. The prophetic path, enriched by countless awlâ (“saints”), scholars and sultans who have been lifted by Allah’s mercy, remains open to every sincere Muslim regardless of nationality.
Respect for the Prophet, his companions, and the holy lineage of the awlâ is central. This respect naturally extends to parents, spouses, children, and neighbors—the very example set by the Prophet, who honored the rights of those living next door so profoundly that some of his followers imagined they might become his heirs. Any attempt to undermine Islam or sow discord among Muslims is seen as a plot against the faith itself.
Concluding with gratitude and prayer, Sheikh Mehmed Adil reassures us that steadfastness on the prophetic way will be rewarded by Allah. He asks for protection from division (fitna) and prays that future generations inherit righteous offspring.
