On June 19 2010 the Royal Ottoman Society gathered for a heartfelt dhikr session led by Ayberk Efendi. Recorded at Harmonie der Herzen e.V., Dammstraße 18 in Ludwigshafen, the gathering resonated with the melodic repetition of “صلى الله سيدنا محمد” (peace and blessings upon our Master Muhammad). The continuous chant created a rhythm that invited participants to align their hearts with divine remembrance, fostering an atmosphere of unity and inner peace.
In this intimate setting, Ayberk Efendi guided the community through layers of praise, each utterance deepening the sense of spiritual harmony. The simplicity of the words—repeating the name of the Prophet (peace be upon him) and expressing gratitude—allowed listeners to quiet the mind, focus on the breath, and feel a gentle flow of baraka (blessing). Such dhikr gatherings are central to our Sufi tradition, serving as both a communal act of devotion and a personal path toward inner purification.
We invite anyone touched by this recording or curious about the practice to join our growing community. Together we continue to nurture the legacy of remembrance and love that Ayberk Efendi so beautifully embodied on that day.
