In a solemn gathering that blended Ottoman reverence with contemporary devotion, Ayberk Efendi presented an extraordinary offering to the esteemed Sheikh Nazım Hz. The ceremony unfolded amidst heartfelt recitations, prayers for the Sultanate’s lineage, and a palpable sense of communal dedication.
The atmosphere was charged with the declaration of the Yeni Osmanlılar Cemaati—“the New Ottoman Community”—as they pledged their hearts, lives, and all possessions to the Sheikh. Repeated invocations of “Allah bağışlasın” (may God bless) echoed throughout the hall, underscoring a collective wish for divine protection over each participant’s soul, wealth, and faith.
Following the formal dedication, a modest theatrical piece was introduced, performed in English so that every listener could understand. The play, though brief, symbolised the community’s desire to spread its spiritual message beyond borders, echoing the historic Ottoman spirit of outreach and cultural exchange.
Throughout the event, traditional blessings were invoked for the Sultan’s descendants and the preservation of Islamic service. Participants were reminded to keep their trust in Allah, with repeated assurances that as long as they remain steadfast, their service to Islam will be accepted.
The gathering concluded with a simple yet profound call: “Allah’a emanet olun” (be entrusted to God). As members dispersed, many offered tea, sweets, and fruit to the children present—a gesture of hospitality that reflects the Ottoman tradition of generosity.
