On the serene evening of 6 June 2015, the Harmonie der Herzen Dergah welcomed two cherished guides of our Ottoman‑Sufi heritage: Sheikh Bahauddin Efendi and Ayberk Efendi. As lanterns flickered softly above the gathered hearts, members of the Royal Ottoman Society settled into a space lovingly named “Harmony of the Hearts,” ready to listen, reflect, and share in the living tradition that both teachers embody.
In this intimate setting, Sheikh Bahauddin Efendi and Ayberk Efendi reminded us that true spiritual progress begins with the alignment of our inner hearts. Their words, rooted deeply in classical Ottoman Sufism yet spoken with a timeless clarity, encouraged compassion, patience, and a shared sense of purpose. The evening unfolded through gentle remembrance (dhikr), melodic recitations, and heartfelt conversation, allowing each participant to feel the subtle currents of divine love that flow through our lineage.
For those who could not be present, the video recording captures the cadence of Arabic blessings, the soothing rhythm of verses, and the sincere exchanges between the teachers. It offers a glimpse into how we continue to nurture spaces where historic wisdom meets everyday practice, fostering a community bound by love for the Divine and one another.
We warmly invite you to join future gatherings and experience the same spirit of unity. Information about upcoming live meetings can be found on our website.
