In a modest hall near the heart of Ludwigshafen, members of the Royal Ottoman Society gathered for an evening of dhikr under the guidance of Ayberk Efendi. The simple yet profound chant “Allah Hu Hakk” (God is the Truth) resonated through the space, inviting each participant to quiet the mind and open the heart. As the rhythmic repetition unfolded, a gentle unity emerged—voices blending like a single breath, reminding us of the timeless Sufi principle that the Divine presence dwells within every soul.
Ayberk Efendi’s calm presence encouraged everyone to stay fully present with each syllable, allowing the words to settle deeply into the inner self. In those moments, daily concerns softened, giving way to an experience of humility, love, and surrender that lies at the core of our Ottoman‑spiritual heritage. The gathering demonstrated how a traditional practice can flourish in contemporary urban life, creating a shared space of remembrance and inner harmony.
We are grateful for all who joined this night of collective prayer, and we look forward to welcoming seekers again soon. Information about upcoming dhikr sessions and other spiritual gatherings can be found on our Live meetings page.
