We were deeply honored to welcome His Highness Prince Eduard von Anhalt to the Royal Ottoman Society’s world headquarters in 2023. In his warm greeting, the Prince expressed gratitude for the Society’s effort to “bring the order back under the people,” echoing our own aim of reviving heritage as a living, communal practice.

The recurring refrain—“Heil dir im Siegerkranz… Herr Kaiser dir!”—filled the hall, creating an atmosphere where Ottoman spirituality and European royal symbolism resonated together in a spirit of mutual respect and celebration.
