The Sheikh’s visits were more than a series of lectures; each encounter unfolded like a living sohbet. Participants heard the familiar refrain “La ilaha illallah” echoing alongside traditional Turkish verses, felt the rhythmic pulse of dhikr that bridges past and present, and were invited to contemplate the deeper meanings behind phrases such as “Çiçek ey dürderviş baba, annem babam toprak.” These moments reminded us that the spiritual path is rooted in humility—recognising our origins in earth—and in the constant remembrance of the Divine Name.
