As‑salaamu ‘alaykum wa raḥmatullāhi wa barakātuh. During his 2017 tour of Germany, Sheikh Muhammed Adil ar‑Rabbani gathered believers for a heartfelt sohbet that reminded us why true victory belongs to those who remain steadfast with Allah. He opened with the traditional greeting and immediately set the tone: whoever stands firm on the Divine side will ultimately succeed, no matter how difficult the path may appear.
The Sheikh emphasized that the spiritual power granted by Allah surpasses any worldly weapon. Missiles, guns and cannons cannot match a heart anchored in sincere obedience. Shayṭān, he explained, employs every trick and “dirty play” to weaken our īmān, whether we live in Muslim‑majority lands or in secular societies. Yet those who truly follow Allah’s command possess an invisible shield that protects them far beyond material strength.
To illustrate this divine provision, Sheikh Adil cited the Prophet’s ﷺ example of a bird that rises each morning, seeks sustenance, and returns home with its belly full. The same mercy is promised to believers whose hearts are firmly attached to Allah—provision comes without effort when faith is genuine.
A central concern of the sohbet was the responsibility we bear toward our children and the younger generation. Teaching faith cannot be limited to words; it must be lived out daily. Sheikh Adil urged each of us to first correct ourselves, to abandon procrastination, and to model steadfastness in every habit. By doing so, we become living examples for the youth, who will then understand that true devotion is more than ceremony—it is a way of life.
He likened strong īmān to an iron ball—unshakable under pressure—contrasting it with the fragility of rice or wheat that can be crushed easily. When families and mosques nurture this resilience, children feel welcomed rather than rebuked for their natural energy, preventing them from drifting away from the community.
The sohbet also touched on the signs of the final days. While acknowledging the approaching appearance of the Mahdī ʿalayhi s‑salām, the trials associated with ‘Īsā ʿalayhi s‑salām, and the spread of falsehood, Sheikh Adil reminded us not to succumb to despair. Allah’s mercy is ever present; the morning light is never far away. By strengthening our faith today, we prepare ourselves for the blessings that await with the promised return of guidance.
In closing, we invite all seekers inspired by these words to deepen their practice and join our vibrant community, where the flame of īmān continues to burn bright for present and future generations.
