In this teaching we are invited to contemplate a striking prophetic image: before the appearance of the promised Imam Mahdi, the world will witness a decisive clash known as Malhamah—the Arabic term for Armageddon or World War III. The narration describes that, after all great armaments have been exhausted, two remaining forces will meet on a vast valley in Turkey. It is there, amid the final field battle of humanity, that the veil of conflict will be lifted and Imam Mahdi will emerge to guide the age.
This vision reminds us of the fleeting nature of worldly power and the enduring promise of divine mercy. As seekers rooted in the Sufi tradition, we are gently called to nurture inner qualities—patience, humility, and sincere devotion—so that when such momentous signs unfold our hearts remain prepared to receive the light of the Mahdi.
